You can also often find out a lot of information on the school from its website, including its location, size, age range, etc.
You can also check to see if the school is located in your state. Some online colleges actually have campuses in the area where you live. There's no point in sending your kids to an online college that isn't actually situated in your home state.
Check the program out to see if it fits with your expectations. It's a good idea to do a comparative study between what you want to accomplish and what you think the school will be able to help you accomplish. You don't want to waste your time on a program that's of little value to you.
